Sealed With A Kiss

11:23 AM

Hi Bellas!

It's been a while since, I've blogged.  You may ask, 'what has kept me away for so long?!  Well, it's the hustle & bustle of life!  Now, I'm not complaining, because life has been pretty good, but I had to drop in with you because I love interacting with my stylish bellas, talking style, and  inspiring you to put together looks for your everyday style.

Though we are a few days into spring, we have kissed winter's cheek goodbye, and kissed spring's cheek, hello! To culminate, I styled a look to celebrate such an auspicious occassion!  I know February was the month of love, however, I am not much for cliche fashion. Love & kissing is an expression that should be celebrated all year round, and it can definitely be worn outside of February!  So imagine my creative thought process when I pulled out this cute oldie!

Deets On The Look - A kiss crop top from H&M, my beloved high-waisted denim jeans from F21, a simple pair of single sole nude pumps, and my handy dandy oversized black clutch (which is simply just a laptop bag that I've made a clutch, wink).

The winter months are filled with weather high and lows, and life is no different. YES, I am excited for spring, it's symbolic of things blooming! But what I love about winter is that it's a season of preparation, the soil is preparing for flowers to bloom again. The trees have gotten rejuvenated to allow it's branches to sprout beautiful leaves and flowers. Like nature, winter has allowed me to reflect on seasons before, evaluate things, people, and circumstances in my life and gave me the inspiration that I needed to prepare for all things to bloom and 'spring' forward in this new season! And I don't know about you, but I'm extremely grateful and excited about that! So with this post, I seal winter with a kiss! Thank you!

If you've decided to seal winter with a kiss, send me an email and let me know how your the your season of preparation has given you the "OK" to 'spring' forward! I'd love to hear from you!

Xoxo,
Elle D.
