Crochet, Prints & Ripped Denim

There's just something regal & majestic about a kimono cardigan.  Different style kimono cardigans have popped up in different styles, colors, and cuts all season!  It's a trend that's made its way back on the scene.  Very versatile, they can be worn as a swimsuit coverup for a tropical feel, over a chic bodycon dress for more toned down sex appeal, with a pair of leggings and wide belt for a more conservtive & relaxed look, or with ripped denim for more edge!

Sizing of the kimono duster/cardiagan of your choice will be determined by your choice of look and body type.  I chose to size down because it's very easy to look frumpy in dusters/cardigans if they do not fit properly.  When selecting the cut and shape of a cardigan, the wearer must understand their body type and how they wish to wear the garment.  This is very important.  Like the maxi dress, we should always purchase a silhouette that flatters the figure and not distract.

For this look, I opted for edge with a tribal cropped tank & light wash ripped pair of denim and simple heel.  Lighter wash denim gives the wearer a more edgy & trendy look & the simple heel still says 'happy hour' or a fun evening with your best girlfriends!
