I am so excited to share this with you! Living in Atlanta, one of my favorite areas to visit is an area called West End. A gem full of culture, rich history, prominent HBCU's, local eateries, and the best shops, one of my favorite boutiques, The AfroCentric Network does not disappoint. Among entry, you are immediately greeted by some of the most beautiful & pleasant spirited employees! A tiny gem nestled in a plaza, this boutique is a one stop shop for all of your shea butters, soaps, oils, incense, body oils, and the most beautiful jewelry! I cannot forget to mention the wonderful pieces of African clothing the store offers, authenically made in Kenya! Among the garments are jumpsuits, wide-leg trousers, dresses, cropped jackets & more, all made with the African fabric!

On this visit, I opted for a pair of pant in a silhouette that I've been longing to try.  We all remember the wonderful designer Jibri's rendition of this pant style.  A little self-conscious at the time to wear this style, I felt an urgent urge to go big or go home, literally! A one-size fits all cut, the comfy pant comes with a drawstring waist line for ultimate comfort and cuffed pant leg.  This style can be worn by many women of all sizes!  I paired this vibrantly colored pant with a black crop top from Forever 21, and a single sole ankle-strapped sandal.

Whether you live, vist or are simply just cruising through the city of Atlanta, please stop by The Afro-Centric Network in the historic West End. You will not be disappointed! For those lovelies that do not reside in Atlanta, The AfroCentric Network's website is undergoing maintenance however, they are still accepting orders! Don't forget to tell them Elle DeWanna from Platforms & Peplums sent you!
